Sublime Sound is the solo moniker of New Delhi-based producer and performer Anhad Khanna. Drawing from a broad spectrum of sonic palettes, Sublime Sound’s compositions are both experimental and approachable. His sets are a carefully curated blend of melodic cuts, reflecting his deep personal connection with the records he’s listening to or producing.
A true representative of high-emotion sounds, Anhad has become one of the most versatile upcoming acts in the music circuit. Sublime Sound debuted on the UK-based Hammer's imprint, Remmah Records, with a synth-heavy and breakbeat-focused EP 'That Love Affair.' The 5-track release garnered significant radio support and paved the way for his sophomore offering on the label, set to release in August 2024.
Sublime's select festival appearances include Jika Jika in Vancouver, alongside Kerri Chandler, and Lollapalooza India. He is set to make his Glasgow debut at the iconic Sub Club for the official 'Bicep presents Chroma' after-party in July 2024. A regular in the Indian club circuit, Anhad focuses on building a diverse and cutting-edge catalog and bringing it to the dance floor in the most authentic manner. He also hosts a conversation series and a club night called 'Feels Like Future,' where he delves deep into the evolution of dance music and the alternate arts through meaningful conversations. The inaugural ‘Feels Like Future’ featured renowned journalist and artist Elijah (UK), with notable mentions from publications like Mixmag Asia in subsequent editions.
Anhad is also one half of the critically acclaimed Indo-American duo Anhad + Tanner, known for their Indian-influenced electronica offerings. Their catalogue includes two full-length albums titled 'In Other Words' (released in 2020) and 'Still But Moving'.
Sublime Sound (Live) will feature a sixty-minute performance of all original material composed and produced by Anhad. Emotive and reflective coupled with euphoric tones, the music will showcase a lush synth-focused palette with the push and pull of strong rhythmic sensibilities. The live set will delve into unreleased tunes, some specially written to score the terrace floors of Alsisar Mahal with utmost focus on creating a connection through sound and dance.
