Monophonik (Live)

New Delhi-based Monophonik channels the quirks of free-flowing, synth-driven electronic music. He creates unique soundscapes based on machine-oriented notions and concepts in his productions and live shows. His hybridised sound is focused on combining the analog realm with modern-day digital tools.

Delving into the nuances and imperfections of modular synthesisers, Monophonik aims at conjuring stripped-down, sometimes intense, and temperamental sounds, in an attempt to humanise his music. A rave archaeologist, digging through time, blending his Indian heritage, the wild flavours of the UK and EU, and the sheer audacity of dance culture into his music.

Monophonik’s releases often span through breaks, acid, techno, and trance with hints of Goa, Delhi, and beyond and his collaborations, with artists from across the globe, transcending borders and genres.
