Paradise at the Peacock Club

A carnival of good vibes, sparkle, smiles and disco, Sunday Night at the Peacock Club celebrates love in all its colours.

With selector extraordinaire Young Marco bringing lush tunes, the space will transform into a paradise for heightened individuality and expression with the help of Dragalactiq. A coming together of 4 queer performing artists – as gender-fluid intergalactic mutants, each possessing their own special skill and style – an aerialist, a voguer and two drag queens will join forces with the Dutch DJ-producer to create havoc at the final closing party of Magnetic Fields 2022.

Dragalactiq will feature:

Ishaan Bharat / Osheen

Ishaan Bharat is a multidisciplinary movement and visual artist, operating under the moniker of Osheen. They’re one of the few queer aerialists in India, and are currently based out of New Delhi, choreographing ‘aerial drag’ performances. Their work draws inspiration from fluidity, sexuality and transformation - reimagining queer bodies and personas through a theatrical lens.

Sushir / Dame Imfala

Sushir aka Dame Imfala is an Indian gender-fluid drag artist and model based in Mumbai. Their drag persona is a culmination of high fashion and a tribute to their indigenous culture. Their electric stage presence, combined with a flair for Manipuri folk dances and voguing sets them apart from contemporary drag artists in the country. They also actively participate in gender sensitisation events fighting against racism and transphobia.

Sunil Bormahela

Sunil Bormahela is a voguer and waacker from Assam, India. Kick-starting as a professional dancer half a decade ago in Mumbai, he serves the five elements of vogue and has competed in various dance competitions and underground battles by Red Bull India. Sunil sees the world as a stage to perform and live in, and wants to create a safe space for all genders through ballroom to serve realness and be themselves.

Zeeshan Ali / Zeesh

Zeesh is a non-binary drag artiste that brings fashion, performance art, comedy and soul with a touch of the avant-garde to the stage. Based out of Bangalore, they’re best known for their theatrical performances and exquisite outfits. From posing for the digital cover of Vogue India to hosting the Vogue Beauty Awards, to being a living art installation for Manish Arora, Zeesh's artistry has been praised and featured in various major magazines in the country.
