Spiralynk is a vehicle for audiovisual exploration. It is the brainchild of Ankit Malik, an interdisciplinary artist exploring organised chaos with a multimodal approach. His multidisciplinary work investigates the relationship between space, time, and the human psyche through algorithmic composition, brain-controlled interfaces, immersive audio, procedural audio and transmission art.

Spiralynk has delivered several audiovisual performances in the United Kingdom, Europe, and India, using bespoke digital systems interfaced with hardware synthesisers. He has composed music for theatre productions premiering in Cambridge, Prague, and Kolkata. Drawing influence from a wide gamut of artists, he constructs hypnotic soundscapes by juxtaposing ambient atmospheric textures with angular rhythmic grooves.

Spiralynk co-founded Bonafide Seven, an artist-led collective and media production house with fellow Berklee College of Music alumni focusing on uplifting fellow artists and creators. Artists supported by Bonafide Seven have been featured in publications such as Rolling Stone India, The Wild City, and Rock Street Journal. In November 2021, Bonafide Seven partnered with Rolling Stone India to bring an exclusive interview and fundraiser with Michael League, the bandleader for Snarky Puppy and Bokante. The proceeds from the fundraiser were donated to NGOs to provide aid and COVID-19 relief in India.

Spiralynk is currently developing and implementing procedural audio systems for electric vehicles while also bringing audio DSP to the blockchain. He will be presenting a hypnotic set for Magnetic Fields 2022 traversing delicate ambient sound ecologies interwoven with angular synthetic rhythmscapes.
